Good morning to the Excellencies, respected Principal sir, sir, madam, my seniors and my dear colleagues. My name is…… I study in class….. I would like to speech on this great annual occasion of Indian Republic Day. First of all, I would like to say a big thank to my class teacher for giving me such a great opportunity to speech here on the Republic day of India.''

26th January is the day which is celebrated as Indian Republic Day every year. All Indian show their Dignity and Respect to the National Flag of India that get unfurled on this very day on several Places in India that include Institutes, Banks and many more Places. This day is celebrated all over the country as Indian National Constitution came under force on the same day i.e. 26 January, 1950.

I am very proud to be the citizen of India. At this day, we unfurl the National Flag of India and sing the National Anthem to show our heartily respect for our republic country. It is celebrated all over the country at schools, colleges, universities, educational institutions, banks and many more places. It was 26 January, 1950 when Indian National Constitution came into force. The period from 1947 to 1950 was transition period and King George VI became the head of state whereas Lord Mountbatten and C. Rajagopalachari became the Governors-General of India.

Government of India organizes an event every year in the National capital, New Delhi where a special parade is held in front of the India Gate. People started to assemble at the Raj Path in the early morning to see the great event. A parade of all three wings of Indian armed forces starts form the Vijay Chowk displaying various arms, weapons, tanks, big guns and etc. Military bands, N.C.C cadets and police also take part in the parade playing different tunes. Some Mini celebrations by the state capitals are also take place in various states in the presence of state governor.Various states of the country also display particular Jhanki related to their culture, tradition and progress after independence showing the existence of ‘Unity in Diversity in India’. Folk dances are exhibited by people as well as some dancing, singing and instruments plying activities takes place. At the end of event, a tri color (saffron, white and green) flower showering with aeroplanes takes place in the sky showing the symbol of National Flag. Some colourful balloons are also flown in the sky indicating the symbol of peace.
